Shipping parcels with DPD is very simple, but there are just a few things for you to take care of. Your parcel should be packed correctly for transport and be suitable for processing on automatic sorting conveyors. Some goods cannot be shipped with DPD. These include live animals, firearms and particularly valuable goods, such as precious metals and precious stones. We ensure that your goods reach the consignee reliably and fast. What you have to take care of in advance is easily explained and quickly done.

You attach all the relevant parcel stickers (the parcel label, your own address sticker and any other needed sticker) on the side (the largest surface) of the parcel - as close together as possible without overlapping.
Please make sure that the parcel label is not covered by packaging string or markings.
Please make sure that the parcel is marked with a clearly readable and correct consignee address.
In the case of domestic and international parcels you are requested to add the consignee's telephone number to the consignee address.
Very important information is postal code. By the postal codes parcels are automaticaly sorted on sorting machine to which country and region parcels will be shipped.
Make sure twice that your written down postal code on label is correct!

As an obligatory is any additional important information regarding a shipment (for example, gate code) to secure fast and high quality delivery.
If you do not want to give away such information, obligate is to write down on label reciever name, surname and phone number.
It’s important that the packaging is suitable for the weight of its contents so that it can protect your goods during transit. The packaging must be suitable for automatic sorting equipment. Bundled packages are not accepted for transport.

For the best possible transport of your parcel within the DPD system, a number of limits must be taken into consideration. In addition to the max. weight of 31.5 kilos, the overall dimensions are important. The girth – longest side + circumference – are limited to 300 centimetres. Minimal size of parcel 10 x 15 cm.
