„Baltic Logistic System - Latvija“ Intends To Leave Only One Brand
Management of courier services market leader company Baltic Logistic System -Latvija took a decision to abandon its current brand Bizpak and start transition to single brand DPD (Direct Parcel Distribution) in coming autumn. The company will be implementing re-branding process till 2008 January. During the period all company‘s vehicles, administration building, depots, documents and courier uniforms will be renewed and decorated with new DPD brand.
According management of the company, few reasons motivated the change of brand, first of all these are new business circumstances and changes in courier services market.
„Taking a decision to keep only one brand that will unite all our services we aim that all the Latvian businessmen that decide to develop their business abroad know that they can get all parcel delivery services from one hands – one services provider,“ said Julia Moreva, Managing director of Baltic Logistic System - Latvija.
According to him, providing services all over the Europe and beyond, the company can suggest wide spectrum of services that facilitate business development in new markets.
“Also, while demand for courier services and market competition increases, we have to make full use of the advantages provided by the international parcel distribution net,” said Julia Moreva.
Since 2002 Baltic Logistic System - Latvija belongs to the one of the biggest in Europe parcel distribution net DPD that connects more than 30 countries. Currently the net is represented by 15 different brands.
“Such situation also prompted the decision to move to the single brand DPD. This would help to increase awareness of the net and companies that belong to it in both local markets and Europe,” said Julia Moreva.
Till now company Baltic Logistic System - Latvija suggested services under both Bizpak and DPD brands for its clients. In the future only DPD brand will be used in the title of all services. According Julia Moreva, this will facilitate company’s communications. She emphasises that event after changing the brand the company will keep on its main business principle – to provide quality and reliable parcel delivery services in the same time simplifying client service procedures.
In coming autumn companies Baltic Logistic System - Eesti and Baltic Logistic System - Vilnius will start re-branding process, too. These companies established in Tallinn and Vilnius also belong to DPD net.
